Propper Portions

As I’ve traveled around and outside of NYC, I’ve realized that an area of opportunity for health in those areas doesn’t lie in lack of education. It lies in changing your habits: how you shop, how you prep and how you choose to take care of yourself.

Remember

keep it *simple* and eat whole foods that are close to the food source. Clean doesn’t always mean boring, so mix it up and have fun with it!

Rule of thumb

fill half your plate with vegetables and/or fruit, a quarter with plant or animal protein, and just a quarter with (preferably whole) grains.
